What kind of paint do you use on those pedals you paint? I want to paint over my DOD overdrive... because it works better as a boost than an overdrive.... ANd has no sweet graphics!

some people use spray-paint. primer coat. then spray-paint. then a clear coat. (& like a toaster oven or something...)
acrylic paint looks nice to me lots of times. you can buy that at like Michaels or something.
other people screenprint or use powder-coating. or something? i have no idea i don't buildz teh pedalz in put teh pedalz in my bellies.
which DOD pedal is it. just out of pristine curiosity.

Yngwie's reissue of the DOD 250. I was told to get one, and it was only $20... But it's Insanely trebley so I only use it as a boost for my small stone's volume drop.

Here are some possible mods
http://www.analogman.com/dodmod.htm if you can do them to help improve it's tone.
This may be the main thing to do though,
"Changing the stock 0.001uf input cap to 0.01uf improves low end and exactly matches original gray circuit design. Stock YJM308 has some low end roll off."

It has no low end

I'd try that mod if I was good with electronics

If you want you can send it to me and i'l mod if for the cost of postage and parts and a single can of beer lol, then again for a pedal at that cost... it might be just worth buying an soldering iron and giving it a whirl! I can help you out if you wanna try.
