Who builds a pedal that does this?

I'm basically looking for a small simple bypass switch, like any generic bypass looper with two pair of ins and outs...
BUT...I don't want the effect(s) that's in the bypass loop to be just switched on and off, I want them to fade in and out when I kick the switch... :snax:
And some sort of control over the lenght of the fade would be extra rad.

Don't suppose anyone knows of an easy/compact way to do this that doesn't involve a volume pedal? :idk:

I think that's what the expressionator does?

So, envelope control over volume that is activated by a switch which simultaneously removes the input signal?
That sounds really interesting but complicated.

This will get you part of the way there:

What device could ramp up exp value with one click and ramp it back down with another...that I don't know. :idk:

Ooh that looks cool! Can't tell from reading the description / manual on the Zvex site though... does the "normal" mode ramp up and stay until released, or does it cycle back and forth from wet to dry? It's close...

+1, sounds exactly like what you described.

It does! Didn't even know of its existance

It does a lot more too though, and I can't spend that kinda money on something I'll probably never use to full extend :s

So if a pedal that small can do that much, it can't be THAT hard to have something similar that's a bit simpler, and just does the fade in/out thing, right? :idk:

^ Thanks for the tip...

Too bad the pedal would have to be shipped half across the world :(

The Pigtronix Keymaster does that too.

Big, pricey,...Not quite a regular bypass looper with an added control :s

Guess I'm asking a bit much :s

Don't suppose the old DOD FX30-B gate/loop could be modded to do this trick? :idk:

Blunt truth: by the time you pay somebody to mod something like this together, it won't be cheaper than off the shelf.

A lot of niche stuff is not cheap for the simple fact that the engineering/design time is what you're paying for, and paying for in spades.

*Maybe* there's a clone of this stuff out there, but don't know if it's DSP or not.

I thought hexe made a CV controller like this? (And, yea, Piotr probably only made like 10).

It would be difficult to do this, but what about a cheap 2 channel mixer, an ab/y switch, and something like the zoom MagicStomp or something else with a boss slow gear clone. It would be overly complicated though.

Dang, just had an idea...
