Thrash Metal.

Thrash is great, and largely underappreciated. Tell me about your favourite Thrash records, preferably newer stuff, say post-2005, which may have slipped under the radar. Everyone knows the classics already. Let's keep it new.

The new Vektor record is insane. Just stupid good, and sci-fi as fuck.

Noisem, too. Their LP from last year is a rager.

Get here in talk about your favourite records to GET RAD to, or whatever.

This is relevant to my interests, as most of my thrash influences have aged the heck out. I was totally into Testament back in the Practice What You Preach days. And Death Angel, Act III... le sigh.

Does Iron Reagan count? Because this video cracks me up, and totally rocks.

Crossover Thrash is definitely within the limits of the thread. Infact, I'd love to hear more stuff like it, because I don't know enough stuff.

I love the Iron Reagan LP. I dig that Tony just went and started a band that pretty much sounded like Municipal Waste, for when Municipal Waste aren't doing anything.

Yeah the new Vektor record is (so far) fucking amazing.

Dead horse at this pont, but the Tau Cross record from last year is fucking amazing. It's like Motorhead and Killing Joke had a glorious, leather-clad baby

That is a perfect description, though I tend to gravitate to the first and last thirds more than the middle. But still, hoping for more!

The singer from tau cross is always trying to sell me swords on Facebook.

Owning a sword made by the singer of Amebix would be pretty fucking metal, dude.

They're better live, to be honest. Definitely go see them.

I know it is off topic, but Sonic Mass was terrible on CD...I could imagine Tau Cross kinda being like that...

Maybe I was wrong...can't find the dates. Stig has been doing interesting stuff too.

I knew I could count on you guys to BRING IT.

Nuke is great. I now also need to listen to SHITFUCKER, because name.

Tau Cross wasn't quite what I had in mind, but it's still rocking my world on first listen. Great record!

Ooooh! I slept on this record a little last year, but it's definitely a great candidate for this thread:
