I would love for someone to show me "the good stuff" because it's impossible for me to navigate acclaimed pop music without having to filter through a bunch of stuff I wouldn't have liked regardless of how skeptical I am of acclaimed musicians. same situation for me with david bowie

I didn't like his music at all. I've listened to a lot of it, but I respected him as a musician.
