WMD Prostar

First the "normal" demo:

And then the Juan & Nick in-depth craziness:

For the first time in a long time, I really really really want an auto-filter pedal. Specifically this one.

IT HAS ITS OWN DAMN PATCHBAY BUILT IN THE TOP OMG!!!!

So is this shit actually going to come out or is WMD just announcing something else that we will have to wait forever on? :( LOL

I dunno - the one that they showed on Pedals & Effects looked pretty production-ready. Not to say that's any indicator - they also look crazy convoluted, so I couldn't guess at build times. Fingers crossed, I suppose.

The Geiger Counter Pro and new Fat Man with patches I tried at last years NAMM seemed ready too and they even told me it was going to be released in a few months! That and the project they were working with Mantic seems to have disappeared.

Nice guys but man they take for fuckin ever to release shit.

I'd rather they take their time and get it right at the time of release. It seems like a lot of pedal builders release pedals before they're really ready. :idk:

Also, that being said, as much as I  the sounds coming from this pedal, I think, in practice, I probably wouldn't even use half that shit. Seems like it's capable of an awful lot of stuff though. It's almost like part of a mini modular synth in a tiny pedal. With all the things it does, working that out to their satisfaction is probably no easy task for WMD. It'd be fun to mess around with. Gonna continue keepin' my eye on this one.

:snax:

Apparently, they can't wait to get it within the vicinity of your boner. ;)

Beautiful sounding pedal, love the little patchbay too. Good job, pedal guy who made it. Good job.
