THAT'S THE UGLY TRUTH.jwar wrote:It's not long enough to pass any judgement for me but if the last few Mastodon albums are any indicator, this will suck hard. Lol. How the mighty have fallen. I saw Maston with Converge right after Levithan came out and it was the best concert I've probably ever been too. Now I can't even stand to listen to them. Sigh.

Crack the Skye marks their last great album for me, after that it's just an endless fall
My hope for gone is gone is that sanders doesn't sing. Like Helmet, the undoing was the singing. That & cliche heavy metal songs. Still, looking forward to this supagroup. We shall see.Dowi wrote:THAT'S THE UGLY TRUTH.jwar wrote:It's not long enough to pass any judgement for me but if the last few Mastodon albums are any indicator, this will suck hard. Lol. It would have been awesome if they'd kept going with the weirder awesome long form stuff they started with on CtS but yeah, nothing worth listening to since then.Dowi wrote:THAT'S THE UGLY TRUTH.jwar wrote:It's not long enough to pass any judgement for me but if the last few Mastodon albums are any indicator, this will suck hard.
