i love quilts.
my grandma made three of them, for me, my brother, and sister.
during the 80s, i always carried one of them with me, as we slept in hotels and bandhouses, and i always woudl rather have my quilt.
wore mine out, stole my sisters.
wore hers out, stole my brothers.....
wore ALL THREE of them out.
grandma just turned 88 last week.....wish i could talk her into making another, but it ain't gonna happen.
BTW -- that woman right there is 100% Cherokee.....now you know where i get it from.

I use to have a quilt with donkeys on it. Someone in my family went to Mexico and got a few family members those. I also had a quilt from Korea with a stitched on dragon that my cousin got while he was stationed there before Desert Storm (he was part of that ;D) but my cat, Savannah, ruined it with her claws ;(
