Max Cavalera musical sins

Is this the worst???? Is it worse than cavalera conspiracy? Are the pieces of shit he's made since (and some argue including) "Roots" enough to damn his legacy as he's definitely been making garbage longer and more prolifically than he ever made anything good? Why are his signature guitars so fucking ugly? Discuss.

Man, Killer Be Killed is so disappointing, considering the folks involved. How did they all get together to make something so bland?

This is as bad as the Foo Fighters.

Too much radio friendly. :idk:

I love how Cavalera gets the lead vocal which makes the music to change into a mediocre parody of Sepultura sound.

the only thing that's totally missing from the selection of horrible schticks he's been into is shouting the name of the band. Like he's done with Soulfly

I think he's also done that one one featuring song... can't remember who was it with.. .Korn? Limb Bizkit?

TOPIC SHIFT DUDES

Should Max be banned from using the word "arise" since he uses it a lot and its a great album with a legacy that doesnt need to be tarnished by every shitty nu metal band max starts????

Do you think Andreas Kisser has reached peak embarrassment at this point or do you think it gets worse every time????

Nailbomb were great. Probably the last truly solid musical output he was involved with, IMO. I think. I don't really know the timeline of his latter days with Sepultura and when Nailbomb came along. I don't really care. Nailbomb.

I quite like the Conquer LP by Soulfly. There's a Bad Brains cover in the bonus tracks, it's great. It's a good album though. I'm a sucker for thrash though, it's pure thrash worship.

The Conspiracy albums are so bland. Every song sounds like it could be a WWE wrestlers entrance music.

I haven't heard Killer Be Killed. I'll keep it that way.

That pointy Snow Camo weapon is no worse than MAX AXE

Albums I liked from Max-

Sepultura- all albums he was involved in. Special mention to Arise and Chaos AD

Soulfly-First 4 albums. The rest suck IMO

Nailbomb-Point Blank

Yea. That's it. Lots of killer music though.

Ugly metalhead guitars are under appreciated.

I went to see cavalera conspiracy cuz I got free tickets. They played "orgasmatron" just like the sepultura version. I was real drunk and it was perfect. Also drunk now. Goodnight ILF.

Better than the last two Mastodon records, better than Greg-era Dillinger. Doesn't touch Sep or Mastodon-on-Relapse. :hello:

I do appreciate Space's texting me Soulfly lyrics, though.
