can you still carry guitars onboard these days? i have a possible 3 week tour coming up, and have to go all over USA......may have to get a flight case from Gator for that excursion...

I did. One Strat and gig bag, packed with my Tshirts for cushioning...
But then again, I fly AirTran, and they have HUGE bins...

I carried on my Sg from arizona to Michigan, I already had 2 bags but the lady was nice and told me to take it on anyways. I fly Northwest, my Dad moved to arizona when I was 9 or so, and I've flown as an "unaccompanied minor" to now with no problems.
