Upgrading my octave pedal - Meatbox or OC-2?

Hi guys

so I've been using the Modtone Deep Dive octave pedal for a long time, but I don't really dig the EQ controls etc... It's a clone of an Octave Multiplexer I think. I think I need something a bit different, it's cool but... seems a little janky (read: it doesn't give me any hipster cred)

I'm basically deciding between finding a used OC-2 or getting the DOD Meatbox RI. I played the Meatbox at our store and could get it with a bit of discount... even on subpar amp and bass with rounds I love how huge it gets, turning it off just seems wrong... I don't really dig the low output which sort of dictates your EQ settings, but I love the dirty synthy tone of it which would be great for a secret ILF music project I just started working on...

Haven't played an OC-2 but that's obviously super simple and straightforward and I know it from many records :) Plus it is quite a lot cheaper when it appears used.

I'd stack the octave with my Elements, Harmonic Percolator or Mountainking Hugebox, so I don't really need the pedal to be dirty... However, imagining the Meatbox into the Hugebox gives me a magnum erection since even with a basic clean octave pedal the Hugebox sounds super massive

Asking for opinions and shit...

Another cheap option : Arion MOC-1. Some people say it's a clone of the OC-2, others disagree. But everyone seems to like it.

I actually have one somewhere but I might have destroyed it with too many circuit bending attempts (not sure, I need to test it again).
