Where do YOU press small batches of vinyl?

We're currently looking into the option of pressing the upcoming iRerror record onto vinyl (yay!). But apparently, pressing vinyl in Norway is close to impossible, so we're looking at having it done abroad. Got any experience, first or second hand, with pressing smaller quantities (50-100 copies or so)? Please share your experience and hook us up with some links and examples of vinyls you've had pressed! :snax:

ILF user conky had a 7" pressed from these guys:

And it came out really well:

Shipping from the US might be prohibitively expensive but unfortunately idk of places in Europe that do small run stuff (although they obviously exist).

Honestly at that small of a batch you might just want to look at doing lathes. Pressing small quantities is prohibitively expensive.

Also, hope you aren't doing 7"s because they cost way too much money and fuck that noise. 300 7"s for $1200 can go right to hell.

There's this place in France that does small quantities, starting at 50 IIRC. I haven't used their services though so I can't tell you much more. Cheaper to ship from here than the US though.

Thanks for the suggestions so far! Will look into them all!

In regards to the quantity, I don't think pressing more than 100 would make any sense as we wouldn't be able to get rid of them, ultimately costing us more. If we make it out even-steven, we would be pleased. Hell, I'm sure a little financial loss would be fine too. It would just be fun to have a vinyl to our name and something to sell at shows and hand out to friends. :)*

does Erica still exist / is it based in europe still?

Agreed on the low pressing numbers. My band is doing 100 soonish, and I'm pretty sure I'll have at least 50 of those in my spare room for a while.

PM me when they are printed and I'll cut that down to 49.

YAY! iRerror on vinyl! :snax:

Yes! Glad you all are going for it. Considered a few sold out here in California.

I just had a discussion about record pressings with a friend and he is based out of UK. Maybe if you can dig and see who Sabotage, Overground, P-Trash, Timmeheiehumme Records, and a few of those European punk labels use...they don't press in large amounts and usually licence or have a deal in place for a NA pressing plant too.

http://www.factmag.com/2015/05/07/press ... =v1buttons was a good read. Has some names of plants too.
