Very simple.

1) Do you have a Digitech Space Station?

2) If yes, does it have the original adaptor?

3) If no, what adaptor do you use to make it go?

I just scored a Space Station (no $$$ involved) but there is no power supply. Any help?

Thanks!

I use a line 6 AC adaptor for mine, but the old school Jam Man/Whammy IV AC power supply will work.

Any 9VAC, 1300mA (17w) minimum current supply, will do. The barrel plug is 2.5mm x 5.5mm (slightly differnt from the BOSS model). A BOSS sized barrel plug will not fit with the XP's, since the XP power jack center pin is fatter.

There are reports that a current supply of as low as 800mA will work as well, but then again, there's also been reports of those adapters failing over time. The latest Digitech (HPRO) 9vac adapters are rated at 1300mA.

Just to throw in my own little anecdote, I had a Space Station and ran it off the 800 mA AC output on my Cioks AC10, and it ran fine for several years.

Ok so I should be able to go with the one in the Amazon link above and be cool, right?

Also, for any of you that have the thing, are the sounds customizable with different parameters and stuff or is just kinda whatever is there is there?

He just said no cash, he didn't say no handies? I'd give, like, six handies for a space station.

I have one w the original power supply, can tell you later what the exact specs on it are if you want.

The presets are pretty much just turn-it-on-and-fuck-with-the-xp-pedal as far as I know (or at least that's all I've done with it). BUT there are quite a few presets and it's fun to just use them as they are. It's frankly kind of a toy, but I mean that in the best way possible. A very fun, weird toy. And it's instant 90s.
