I am looking at picking up an old Carlsbro 100w slave with EL34s in it. I would love to convert it to KT88's to match my head. Would this be even possible or worth it? I am assuming I would have to change out some resistors or the like. Any advice and pros and cons are welcome. Amp in question:

I would leave it EL34/6ca7 personally. Variety is the spice of life

Different breakup characteristics together greater than the sum of parts; to me a dual amp EL34+KT88 setup is likely to shine...

this. so much. nothing like EL34s in one amp and American servo tubes in the other.

The plan is to run my Science Mother into a peavey 3620 cab, then line out the Mother to the Carlsbro and run that through my Sunn 412lh. Should get pretty doomy.
