They have some good deals on pedals, microphones, and miscellaneous recording equipment right now. I believe all of the clearance items are overstocks and not customer returns or factory seconds.

Soem pedal examples:
EQD Palisades ($249) $175
Wombtone V1 ($349) $250

Anyone have experience with the blue microphone spark? Seems like a good price at $150 and I've been looking for a condenser mic forever and just never pull the trigger

I dunno...in that price range I would go with the cascade fat head condenser. People really seem to like those. They are ribbon mics though I think.
Sometimes you can get mxls for $50 and upgrade those too.
I'm sure they are fine microphones though.

i'm a fan of buying MXLs dirt cheap and just using them as is. their lower quality diaphragms have excellent rejection.
intrigued by that preamp though...

Those are fantastic, and they are ribbon mics, but they are built for high spl sources like loud amps. So less of a need to worry about breaking them.

well i learned that the 990 at least wont pick up me coughing my brains out after taking a hit while tracking drums for my friend they also rejected the noise coming through the walls of his practice space of an extremely loud and intense drummer in the room next to or above us. so that was very gratifying.

Those definitely are good things to learn. I hate recording at places with lots of practice rooms.
