That absolutely RULES!!! I'll have to score that. I actually still own an 8-track player.
They are one of my all time favorite bands....and in fact, I'm wearing my Cheap Trick shirt right now!

I'd feel even worse when that 8-Track player quarbles and chews up that nice new $30 cassette as they were always prone to do. ah, the good ol days...

Oh, the warbling 8-track? All you have to do is lodge a book of matches in there at the right angle, and problem solved.
The good ol days indeed.

wow 8 track...something ive never experienced.....vinyl is my go to medium.
wonder how much it costs to get some shit "pressed" (for lack of a better word atm) to 8 track.

when did vinyl become a "go to medium." i feel kind of lame for actually buying that now. i love compact discs & cassettes. but yeah i also wasn't born in like 1991 so i guess i can kind of see why it's trendy now...

no. i mean there a "certain" people that will ONLY buy vinyl. i have i guess about 500 records, give or take. i have "Live at Budokan" on vinyl. i was more taking about the strange compact disc black-lash; like, if its not on vinyl, "certain" people won't buy it...
i guess i misinterpreted what you meant by "go to medium." i guess for you that means "preferred" medium but you still listen to music on cassette, compact disks, MP3 et cetera--
anyway i was just thinking out-loud...

ohhh i understand what you are saying now. to be honest i didnt really get what you were saying in the last post, but it was really late at night for me i guess i just responded anyway! ha. lookin back my OG post was kinda not all there. yea a better word would have def been "preferred". i still like other types but i will really only drop substantial loot on records. if its something i really want to get tho and its not on vinyl, ill get whatever they put it out on. also, i guess being a heavy sampler when it comes to making music contributes to my vinyl addiction as well. cause to me records arent just for listening, they are for creating too. any samplers/crate diggers out there (in this guitar player heavy community??) honestly sometimes i feel like the odd man out here, but i still dig this community, which is why i hang around.
but yea i feel u man...some elitist types of ppl....even within the record culture i cant stand those ppl who must have their records absolutely mint, like no scratches at all not even a smudge. they get all snooty with the record store ppl. me? i dont really give a fuck, i've found that 95% of the dinged up records still play 100% fine, maybe even have a little more character than an absolutely clean one. i guess its fine tho, more records for me! like i said i love me some crackle, pop, fizzle and shit. ooohh yea thats music to my ears.

cassettes have a section in my heart as well, just not as big.
anyway i feel like those "certain" people you are referring to, dont even get the record experience truly and fully, thats why they are all elitist about it, they are just trying to appear hip and shit....fuck that.....music is music is music is music, no matter how u slice it or what you press it to.

No, I'd heard about it, but also heard that it was never released... is there a leaked verion out there, or did they finally put it out? I would totally love to hear that!
