I want to get a digitech PDS delay with better switches and an expression output for delay time. maybe I should just buy a glitch pedal for the resampling sound but I thought this might be cooler

JohnnyAngle aka Dropping Acid does it.

With the Digitech style delays, most expression pedals on the market have too high of an ohm value to be really useful...The ones I have use 5k pots and the lowest widely available exp pedals have 10k or 50k. Very limited range of switching.
What I did find that worked well when rehousing my FX94 sampler was to convert the delay time pot over to an LDR and then feed a dimmable bulb via EXP pedal. I don't know what the values are of the pots in the PDS though. Also, the way those are kinda made (two perpendicular boards) will probably limit your case choices (probably need something a hair taller). The switch replacement isn't that hard of a mod either.
Jero could do it!

This is also relevant to my interests. Looking to rehouse my monarch into a bigger enclosure, who's good at custom art?

Much love to DW. I am working on a trade with Nick from Turnipfarm Fx and he has been awesome.

Yea, same one (thanks again!). I have a few more mods to do on it (making another new case, I think I figured out a trick to get the preset mod working, adding 9v adapter

as it is still on battery) but I have a few other projects to do first. I also added a CV controled bypass switch so I could sync or it to a cv source like LFO (which I also need to add a bypass to). I'll send pics and stuff when I finish completely.

^ was a test video I did a long time ago showing the switching by running an EHX 8 step program into the switch to turn it on or off randomly (and a little but of the LDR time mod). Not the greatest video, just was glad it all worked. haha

Perhaps Kirk Hammett can mod your pedals.
