I'm always interested in what didn't work. What are the most interesting or best or worst pedal lines and companies that failed? What gems are there amongst the fallen?

Guyatone.

Especially their micro series, but even their 70s stuff. I have honestly never played a bad Guyatone pedal and often they flat out shred.

Is Snarling Dogs still around? I went to their home page, which the top half looks like legit selling a wah, slide and picks, the bottom is bizarre links to porn websites??

H.B.E.? Can't find their website.

Trying to keep to lines and not one-off pedal makers, and those that stayed dead.

Snarling Dogs is dead last I knew.
Damage Control. (Though once they folded, they started fresh as Strymon.)
Ross.
Pearl.
Prescription Electronics.
Tycho Brahe.
Lovetone.
Schumann?

Lovetone was the one that broke my heart. I will never love again. How did they fail?! I cannot understand.

Not failed, as the guy passed away, but I always wanted a GS Wyllie moon rock.

Prescription Electronics went under last year, and they were amazing.

I think that SkyChord may have gone under? Would love a CloudBuster.

They stopped making them, but Studio Electronics made some dope pedals [that Malekko makes now].

The world wasn't ready for overly tweakable super quality hand build enevelope filters or giant spacey flangers with a shit ton of controls :idk:

They were just like Chase Bliss for instance, but I guess back then there was only a tiny niche market that couldn't make that type of business profitable :idk:
