Fug. I'd put an aluminum neck on my SQ Precision Bass.

It's an awesome neck. Comfortable profile that isn't as thin as EGC necks. Extremely well built

The plan is to stick one of these on my single pickup, straight-to-the-jack Strat.

Already have one on a jazzmaster...if he does them again im gonna buy another one for a tele...single pickup, single volume knob.

The necks, as skully says, are really well built and feel great to play too.

I was hoping Bastin would make a bass VI or baritone conversion neck. That would be killer for my situation and ideas.
