Bitcrushers: where in the pedal chain?

Alright, so I ordered this tiny cheapo Chinese bitcrusher (same one as this guy: viewtopic.php?f=149&t=50000), and I am wondering where people usually place these in their chain?

I am thinking of sandwiching it in my fuzz - after the oscillating fuzz but before the non-oscillators. But I don't have it yet, so I cant really experiment.

Also, anyone have experience using bitcrushers in conjunction with fuzz? I imagine you could get some interesting textures perhaps.

There's no rules on ILF. You put it where it sound better for you.
For me I prefer them in the middle of my chain.
They are awesome with fuzz, especially it there a mix knob on them.

I have one in the middle and one after some of the loopers. Because loops sound fun when crushed to bits.

I prefer sample rate reduction to bit reduction, but I like having it early in the chain. But I don't tend to use it with heavy distortion, just clean or overdrive. Love the anti-aliasing.

Most "bitcrushers" actually only do sample rate reduction, which is easier to achieve in a simple circuit anyway...

I'm fairly binary on the same one you ended up with: I put it either first before the board or right after master board/before the rack preamp splitting off to amps.
