how to test new pedal - effective way

I bought a new blackout effectors twosome last week to replace my special twosome deluxe. I didn't need the order switching functionality and frankly I liked the graphics better on the simpler model :idk:

So I plug it in to my pedal chain and start playing around trying to find my old settings and the shit just wasn't right. I just could not get the same sounds. Thoughts were running through my mind. Is what pedal heads always talk about all like "some units sound different than others"? Maybe I just got a BAD twosome? Is this a bad transaction? Am I going to have to try to get a refund now? Fuck.

Then I realized: my wah was on.

I'd start by PMing blackout_kyle, here. He'd probably be able to get you straightened out. He's a good guy.

I don't think he'd be very happy to have to fly out to my house to tell me that my wah was on.

I don't know, if the new version of the DBA evil filter never comes out I'll be happy to get a clone in a Wah enclosure. :snax:
