Schaller LP Trem - Anyone used one?

Supposedly, this is a direct drop-in replacement for any guitar with a tune-o-matic bridge.
We have a Flaxwood guitar at my work that has one of these on it, and it plays amazingly.
Seriously one of the smoothest tremolos I've used on a guitar.
But, that guitar was designed to have that bridge so it might be slightly different?
Has anyone tried tossing one of these on a Les Paul or SG?
Anyone else interested in trying one?
Looks like an eBay seller has them for $150, very tempting...

I've been really tempted by this idea for a while. Ended up just getting a guitar with a trem instead because I didn't want to mess up my only guitar. Reviews I read seemed to indicate that they're only good for bigsby style wiggle, no huge bombs. Should be good as long as aren't expecting a Floyd

I so much want to bigsbyfy my SG. This might be an option except it's........ Uglier.
I hate being human and shallow

You can check out the duesenberg les trem (I think it's called that) and compare. I think it's a little cheaper too
