I'd like to think my cat is smart enough for that, but she's not the sharpest tool in the shed.

I once saw my first cat do that exact same thing to a little bird in our backyard. Cats are freaking amazing

My cat can grab treats out of the air like that. He's normally pretty laid back, but he turns into an acrobat when he knows there's treats to be had.

My cat catches flies out the air with her one paw. She also leaves neatly placed and sorted piles of organs on the welcome mat every once in a while.. one time she even took some basil from my mom's garden, cut it in 4 pieces and garnished a pile of intestines and a heart with them.
