so I got some money from a pedal i sold today, and i want to get a new distortion pedal. I've narrowed it down between the rawkworks night OD and the way huge supa lead. both discontinued and probably going to appreciate in value over the years, but what should i do?

here's what I'm using:

How're you running your amp?

If kinda cleanish, Way Huge.

If kinda dirty, Rawkworks.

i'd be using it in conjunction with a spaceman rumblefuzz, generally.

and the amp i dont have a functioning footswitch for so if i change channels i just pull the knob - that being said i tend to use that the most when i'm not using my board.

so i guess the real question is what would stack better with the RF?

Difficult to say.

Seeing as it's easier to come across a night OD I chose to get the supa lead. And it's a crazy piece of trade bait to boot in the event I don't like it.

Are the original Way Huges still holding their value? I thought they'd dipped once the brand was revived.

you know, i don't know as much anymore. a lot of the pedals that were original have been reissued and the bubble definitely went away i think, but the supa lead there are only 40 of, so assuming they don't make a reissue of it i think it's gonna inflate a little no matter what

Yeah I have no idea I just remember that they were one of the big names in boutique pedals when I was first getting into gear and they used to command really insane prices .

Pretty sure that one's a Dunlop pedal not an original by Tripps when WH was indie.

yes, owned by dunlop but hand wired by jeorge tripps for a music store in japan!

Like you said, you may as well get the WH and then flip if you don't like.

i hate being a shkreli about pedals, if anything i'd try to trade it.
