I don't think we have a dedicated thread. If we already do, well, we have another.
I'm excited about this bad boy:

This sounds like the guitar is at Chuck E Cheeses in the 90's playing retro space arcade games.
I love it.

Had a Guitar Disrupter which I didn't like (it seriously destroys your guitar signal). However, my friend left me another one in his will, and it's been useful in my tabletop setup (where things like note definition are irrelevant).

The Drone Thing looks super rad. Also really wanna play with a Blackfly. I really like that they spend some good time focusing on standalone effects...

This is how I feel too. Company seems really legit.

I really dig my Guitar Disruptor. With the Flux all the way down, it's a pretty amazing super-gated gain-smashed-all-to-hell beastie.

That's a bummer. I have the more guitar-pedally-enclosure version, and my bandmate just had to do some emergency soldering to bring it back to working. Now it works, and disrupts very nicely. Cool story bro, pt 2.

I've always wanted a Blackfly.
I've also heard (numerous times) that the Guitar Disruptor is way more practical than you'd think.

My OG big box disruptor has survived many a purge, including eurorack. I think Merzbow is the only other guy that still has one. I like the weird enclosure for the oddball factor, never had anything else like it. It's crazy loud even on low volume, definitely a good one to plug into the modular. Still got the video too, got some pretty pissed off cat growls out of it near the end:

First impression video rendering before I chop it again, but Guitardämmerung came today. It is super responsive to guitar volume and string vibrations. With lighter hits and volume, it will be a kinda velcro fuzz (MASF Biloma-lite) but if you hold it, a filter sweep will come in with distortion and loose the fuzz all together. The LFO for the resonant filter is controlled by the string hits too...and you can glitch out the envelope to kind of "lock in" and get stuck with just static. Kinda hard to describe, but quite fun...kinda sounds like there are three LFOs going at different sweeps at times. Can get very arcade/video game like too. Fun! Not a ring mod though...but that is cool.
