What's the deal with this pedal? I've been on the subscription list for the past year++ and haven't received any updates(beside the July web update). Did I miss something?

They're made in small batches and sold to buyers chosen by lottery -- if you're on the list, you're in the lottery, and if/when they're built you have a chance at buying one.

Nope. Best to not think about and just (hopefully) be surprised one day.

Also cloudscapes doesn't respond to my erotic smokesignals anymore and I'm pretty upset about it.

I'm just wondering why as a builder, the Sonic Crayon guy doesn't just take deposits over the course of a few weeks or months, then get pcb's made, parts procured and do bigger runs. I guess he has more important things to do. I'm guessing he's a programmer or engineer by trade and the money to be had versus time/effort spent on building pedals probably doesn't compare to his day job. Just a thought.

I mean he posts here pretty regularly, you can ask him.
But similar things have been asked and homie just doesn't want to, I don't think money really factors into the equation -- but I could be wrong.

Not gonna put words in his mouth, but I'm pretty sure hes stated many times that he doesn't like that model, nor does he want to outsource to a builder to do it for him.
Dude is doin his own thing, building crazy shit. Maybe one day he'll get to it, maybe he won't. Better to just put it in the back of your mind and be pleasantly surprised one day.
On the real though, if you're reading this cloudscapes, build Anti-Nautilus modular plz.
edit: Fucking D.o.S. beating me to replying by 30 seconds both times now.

Right on. I can understand being finicky or perfectionist with a design. I haven't been a member here that long and wasn't aware of the Sonic Crayon guy's presence on ILF. I'm not fiending for this piece of gear, but it's definitely been in my top 5 want list. It's cool if he goes the modular route, but I like the idea of the pedal form. I've been using a Make Noise Phonogene for awhile, but it doesn't have the feel and gratification of a pedal looper/glitcher. Any easier to find gear in this realm? I've got a CT5, Masf Possessed and some modular.

Yea, cloudscapes post here quite a bit, and I see him sometimse on muffwiggler as well. Well first off, how you liking that Phonogene? I've been eyeing one forever and hopefully will finally get one this year.
Malekko made a new granular delay deal, the Charlie Foxtrot. Also look out for the MWFX Judder and MWFX Glitch.
If you're looking for a looper/glitcher thing though, email the guy over at Hexe about getting a Revolver. I got a Revolver II recently and the thing is always blowing me away. I like it much more than the Possessed (although the Possessed gets some weird sounds unlike any other pedal of this category).

Damn dude Phonogene is on my want list and I don't even modular. What's different in regards to the feel?
Someone on here has an AN... UglyCassanova or EiwindAugust, maybe? They'll probably be able to help with suggesting things that do similar things. I hear good things about the HEX.
OH SHIT the 30 SECOND TIMETABLE HAS TURNED

Haha I got you this time. UC has a Vessel's End. As far as I know, no ILF poster got the AN.

Youp. Every other vibrato I've tried sounds like a bad joke. I gig with it, but I'm definitely more careful stomping it than any other pedal
