Music Man Amps

okay so yeah these have been discussed to death im sure but every time i use the search function it breaks on me so.
i recently purchased a 79 115 rp100. when i played it, i thought it sounded amazing. when i brought it home to crank it up, it didnt really seem to be pushing 100 watts. a pair of el34s are probably not producing 100 watts before distortion, but whatever. its loud enough i think.
but the point is that this is the best sounding amp ive ever played. its so evenly spread across the frequency range that everything sounds good. its reproduces every string really evenly and beautifully. the eq is really powerful too, which lends to easy trimming of the sound.
one thing i noticed is that this is the first amp that my teles bridge pickup didnt sound stuffy and honky. i have a set of 52 ri pickups wired up to 50's wiring specs, and the neck pickup is amazing through any amp. but i always ignored the bridge pickup cuz it was picky and honky and kinda gross. but now it sounds big and authoritative and sparkly, not ice picky.
replaced the original spring reverb cuz it was weak and crappy, accutronics tank sounds way better but i still wish i had deeper verb. phasor sounds good but i mean, its phasor. never gonna use that shit.
the speaker is an EV 15 and its great. not a hint of speaker breakup. sounds massive like a giant with a baseball bat trying to hit you in the balls but the bat is so huge he just hits you into orbit.
this thing was like, made for pedals. fuck other amps. this really does make every pedal sound good. my vintage rat, wattson overdrive, delays and reverbs obviously, superfuzz sounds like the devils dick drill, fuck.
so basically im a music man fan boy now. post pics of yours, tell me to fuck off, etc.
