Are you suddenly Canadian?

Also, are you looking for something with sub-miniature or normal sized tubes?

One of the cheapest and best I know of is the Fender Greta.

I see those little fender champion 600 combos used for 100 bucks. Same with valve juniors.

I think the champ 600 I have is the piece of gear that I've hung on to the longest. Awesome amp.
Theres a brand of amps that were made back in the 60s under CMI named Kalamazoo, you can usually find the little ones for really cheap still. Really nice sounding little amps.
I bought a Reverb 12 for 40 bucks a couple years ago.

Had one, but ultimately didn't like the overall sound that much and got rid of it. Didn't take my pedals well, so you kind of have to like what it does alone, IME.

The Harley Benton GA5 was about £60, I think, but it seems to have been discontinued.

Wang Biyang 1W head -$170
Kustom Defender 5H, $110; 15W $220
Laney Cub 10, what I'd go for if I was looking for compact on short money and not C600, $250
Monoprice 5W combo w/ Celestion, $113; 15W w Celestion speaker & spring verb, $227....

Those jet city amps are cheap. No idea how good/bad though. And in my opinion they're quite ugly, but I've heard you can save up and give em a really sweet makeover :whateva:

Also these are both small and cheap. And the company name makes me giggle, which I guess is a good thing http://www.hotoneaudio.com/products/nanolegacy/

EDIT: fuck they weren't tube at all. Nevermind

There is very little headroom, that's for sure. My wife's Micro Terror sounds great on its own, though. She hits it with her Twosome and it's outstanding!

CRATE VC5 or Palomino V8. They're fuckin' tiny and sound sweet.

Well, first I was sad but now I'm intrigued. I like smacking small amps with dirt pedals, you can push them into over saturated crap quickly though, but at conversation levels.

I love my Blackstar HT-1RH. $250 new. Small, but solidly built. Gets fucking loud. Take pedals well. Part of my stereo rig.
