Now that ILFmas is basically over, save for a few stragglers, we can look ahead to the new year. So what do you want to accomplish tonewise next year? What major purchases do you see happening? What white whales will you finally capture?

My goals for 2016 are:
Finish my baritone and secure my new cab (THANKS AGAIN Y'ALL) and my rig will finally be solid as fuck. Baritone -> yba-3 -> Dominion 2x12

Acquire a real spring reverb, preferably in pedal form. Uverbia or Endless Summer mk2. Maybe a spring king.

Talk Brian into making me a Superbuzzz.

I want a new amp. Gonna get rid of my gigantic crate stealth and get myself a nice clean tube combo to go with the orange stripe Randall.

This year, I also aspire to play my first ( ) tonebender type fuzz

Acquire a bass VI or baritone

- MWFX Glitch and other glitchy goodness (superflutter?)
- Some sort of super fuzz
- That huge Walrus power supply
- More Seppuku/AudioSlime pedals

One word: Modular.

Naw. I want to get a Judder and a Glitch an Elements and the Montreal Looper. Most of my other bases are either completely covered or undecided. But I definitely want to get deep into the glitch folk project I've been planning for ages.

- Build up a Warmjet.
- Buy a DI/Micro Bass head for jamz via bicycle.
- Get better portable cases/bags.
- Get louder / groovier.

Honestly don't know what I want, but I'm the boy who has everything mode at this point.

Will have the 339 paid off in a couple months so can start looking at the next big ticket toy.

I mostly want to improve my playing. I think that will do more for my tone than anything....but I always want to find my old, weird style of ring modulation playing that I used to have before I started learning guitar.

On that note, track some drums out, play bass again, and write a song.

As for equipment (probably more of a long term than next year):

• - Sunn Model T (life long dream...since like 1996...going to save and save and do it no matter the cost (within going rates).) though I will probably just use the beta lead more often than not...and I know this is a dumb goal....I don't even like that band haha.

  - Whatever LAL releases (plus 45, 87, Ripplet, Sakura...NEVER LOOSE THE DREAM!)
  - Probably whatever audioslime releases (DEM)

  - Build some stuff??

Might just be better to find somebody to jam with...but damn, it has been 10 years.

Sell some of my damn gear. Pisses me off sometimes to look at boxes full of boxes...haha.

can't really think of any gear i want but i do want to play my harvester guitar so much that it has the natural wear of a 50 year old guitar, cos everyone knows that moar wear = moar mojo = higher toan fairy retention equivalent = better toan.
I also want to finish refurbishing my space echo. I love it to death but it's gonna need the motor rebuilt and a playback head replaced soon enough.
will likely be broke as shit for a while now so the focus is properly maintaining the gear i have so it works/feels/sounds the best it can. i'm pretty lucky to have what i do have so if i can do that i won't feel bad about not being able to afford anything new.

I might end up selling it all but more realistically, I'll whittle down to a guitar, a bass, 4-6 pedlolz, & 2 amps.
The only major gas I might not be able to fend off is a Greer Amps Apache.

-continue my modulation quest of supreme majesty
-choose 5 or 6 workhorse pedals and build a board for them to use in my rawk band instead of my usual sprawl
-keep working on the tripped out project me n the wife are planning and use that to fully indulge pedal sprawl
-retube my butcher with some nice power tubes
-quit dicking around and buy a better bridge for my blacktop jazzmaster

my number one rule for this year:
NO MORE BUYING GUITARS OFF THE INTERNET WITHOUT HAVING PLAYED THEM!!!
gotta quit that shit and instead focus on building the partscaster of my dreams
