Stuff you want to buy even though you'll never use it

me:

i'm sort of obsessed with delays, but most of the ones i hear have no place in my music. i'm especially attracted to the DBA Echo Dream 2 and the Catalinbread Adineko.

i want a Rickenbacker 360 just because i love R.E.M. that much. but i already have too many guitars and not enough money, and i'd have to string it with telephone cables to get Buck's sound.

i'm always looking at new modulation ideas, too. but i have no space on my board and already have chorus, flanger, and phaser covered.

what about you?

All the dirt bootek pedals this forum is crazy about.

Miku stomp.
Microbrute.
Tape units.

Toys pretty much.

I boughted a Rainbow Machine, because it sounds so good, even though I thought I'd never get that much use out of it.

Surprise! Surprise!

(Lots of noise generating devices rear their beautiful little heads 'round here, and while they're most definitely fun to play with, I'd probably never use 'em in a more musical context. Same goes for any effects pedal {multi or otherwise} with lots of pre-sets or a menu or anything like that.)

I play mostly by myself in a spare bedroom, so really I don't need any of this shit...

Don't know if I see it that way though. Even if I didn't have my band and all, one thing that really is enjoyable in this world otherwise composed by shit and stress is playing with my... toys.

Huge tube amps is something I really want to buy, but I don't know if I'd have a space to use them anytime

dubskitties!!!!! nice to see you again

massive amps, drone generators, another CT5, Moog Sub Phatty, a modular setup, some cool percussion pad thing

oh wait... the more I play in this band the more I feel I could actually use all of them if done in a proper and clever way. Like a modular/drone generator setup with CT5 and stuff...

ok, just massive amps

yeah I always look at big amps and want to snag em even though 20watts and a 1x10 is more than plenty for me
