Drumpads

Like the electronic ones.
I just realized I can run effects into them, and suddenly I have aimless gas for one.
I want to run one into a judder and an Arf and my No Memory. But I don't know shit about them, what are some good cheap electronic drum pads I can get? 8 pads are preferable, but I won't discriminate against a 6 pad one.

Pretty sure you could just find about anything, stick a piezo transducer to it, solder a 1/4" jack to that, and call it a "drum trigger." All you'd have to do is hit it. You could pick different objects based on their sustain and timbre.
But...do you want to send drum samples through effects? Then you need a sample library, or drum module or somesuch. The rubbery Roland ones are good, but they're kinda expensive for what you want to do. Tell us more.
Or just buy that fucking body rap thing. It'd be fun for at least five minutes, and no more than ten.

I don't know what the specific rules are but I don't know if you can self-TWSS
maybe you can,
as far as the drums I have a cheap alesis kit that is pretty old, but I like the sounds on it and it seems indestructible. feel stupid for not running it through pedals yet

You guys. I need that body rap to do some art performace piece in which I beat myself up while covering some powerviolence tunes.
The roland SPD-30 seems to be a good way to go, their used prices are not too bad. I'll probably wait until after NAMM though.
