Recommend a Delay

I play bass, and am looking for a good modulated delay with a healthy amount of tweakable options. I would like infinite repeats, like the Strymon Dig but that's not a requirement.

El cap!!! Beautiful modulation, infinite repeats that sits perfectly behind the signal, the secondary knob uses adds a lot features and plus it has a sweet looper that's kinda unique and shit

Echo Degrader!
It's the El Cap's nastier (in a good way) lofi looperless cousin.
And the two of them together is gonzo bonkers kinds of fun.

Deluxe Memory Boy if you want analogz.
Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai if you want digitalz.
Timefactor/DD500 if you want everything.

For bass I'm gonna recommend the Bitquest...sounds good for delay and has other sounds if needed. The good doctor knows his delay sounds.

Lately when I play bass I use the Red Panda Raster
Not sure you could necessarily call it modulated but it does get those sounds and a ton more

I had one before, it was awesome but the GAS attacked and it was flipped. I regret it.

Having owned both the Bitquest and Raster before I am aware of their abilities and I fully consider them as possibilities to buy again.
Another one I've been looking at is the Digitech Obscura.

Been gassing for an Obscura myself. Affordable, compact, stereo i/o, tweakable analogness,...
If it weren't so pricey: Hungry Robot Moby Dick.

Kinda curious about the obscura although there are some things on the polara verb I really struggle with especially in a live situation, mostly functional things not tone things

Obscura is digital though.

Know what I've never tried yet? Minifooger Delay. I really should give that a try, not like I have two rigs to run an Obscura stereo anyway.

It is. Didnt know you weere after an analog delay. Fwiw, the best sounding analog delay sounds I heard came from a digital delay. It was a vmsd, flipped it cause it was a pita to operate. Which is why I wouldnt mind grabbing an Empress Tape Delay someday. But even with more affordable analog-ish digital delays its imo often nearly impossible to hear the slightly different degradation of the repeats when you're in a loud/live band situation, and the digital alternative is usually cheaper and obviously not as limited in terms of modes, delay time, etc...
You already know that ofcourse, and I'm not trying to talk you into buying a digital delay. Especially not if you're after a minifooger, they're supposedly the shit.
The stereo thing is just nice to have, in case I ever want to mess with two chains, but its not that a big deal for me either.
