I have a triangle big muff clone and I love it. Unfortunately when I plug into my cranked Vox in the top boost it's scooped character gets lost when doing battle with cymbols, samples, keyboards and another guitarist. Definitely need something with a bit more mids so I can be heard over the cacophany. Would love to keep the gain of the Big Muff though. For leads I would be goosing the fuzz with a Rangemaster set on full range. I also have a jazzmaster if that helps here.
I feel I need a new fuzz and would love if somebody could recomend one of the following for Top Bosst/Jazzmaster or describe the tonal characteristics of the following. I realize that the models will differ with builders but just looking for ballpark for now. Thanks!!!

Look into the musket/blunderbuss.

wow that Musket sounds amazing. I bringing in my tri muff to be modded with a no mid boost/flat mids/boosted mids switch but those focus and pre knobs could come in handy for different amps and guitars and the mids knob definitely gives me more flexibility when trying to get heard over the band. Still thinking of some germanium goodness though

Then the blunderbuss. It's a germanium/silicon hybrid.

Would a blunderpuss be a bit more naturally ow mid than the musket?

Musket with mids and focus set high is a great choice, or also consider one of the Muffs with a tone bypass switch. A muff with the tone circuit bypassed with punch right through any band mix.

I don't have experience with the Musket/Blunderbuss, but I can vouch for the tone bypass. My Secret Santa on this site gave me a clone of a D*A*M Dope Priest, which is a Muff circuit with a tone bypass. I haven't switched the bypass off. It's louder and meaner

Which of these three would give me more mids? Tonebender II or Buzzaround?

What do you want to use the fuzz for, riffs, chords / rhythm or single note / lead stuff?

Most Muff pedals are better for riffs or chord / rhythm playing and a Tonebender MKII is more a lead type pedal, it doesn't really have the punch and balls for rhythm stuff.
In the Tonebender range I'd recommend an MKI over an MKII any time of the day.
On the other hand Muff pedals are not the best with Vox type amps so if going that way I'd get a modern style Muff like the Pharaoh or something if I were you.

The Buzzaround / Dizzy Tone is great and works for both rhythm and lead playing, holds chords really well and has lots of openness and clarity while still remaining some oomph.

Buzzaround is brutal. Tons of mids. I was going to recommend the dope priest if you want a muff with hard mids. Amazing pedals.

Arcane Analog makes this high-gain Buzzaround. Currency on their site is CAD so it works out to around $168 USD.

They have a really good reputation for making period-correct clones of classic fuzzes.
