kick drum pedal foam ring dampening thing

WTF are these called? can't find one anywhere. it's just a foam ring that wraps around the head of the beater to make it quiet.

Look for drum mutes.
Most of them go on the head instead of the beater but should accomplish the same thing.
If you need something to go on the beater, you could try microphone windsock.

i know these are out there, i already have one but want a second (have two kits set up now, yes i know i can just switch back and forth).

A big thick pair of socks rolled up and pulled over the beater works ok to muffle and quiet things down a bit. Give it a try.

that's what i was thinking if i can't find another of these. gotta love socks.
