Another delay quest (update p.4)

New quest:
Hi guys,
here I am again with another delay quest. I bought a Diamond Memory Lane 2 which is perfect for my modulate analog delay sounds, also for dotted eights things, for auto-oscillation and more. But I want a second one to fulfill what I can't do with it. I just borrowed the Obscura of my bandmate and I don't like it.

I want:
a digital delay (tape delay is something I love too) but something that can go crazy (I just sold a DD-6, cool pedal but you know what GAS means)

I don't need:
- shimmer or glitchy things (I have a CT5 and a BitQuest for this purpose)
- no reverse
- tap tempo
- a big unit with plenty of switches and presets, I am a knobby guy.

Undefined budget. I mainly use the BitQuest for verb and I occasionally switch it to the delay mode but if I have a stompbox aside, it would be cool :D
Hi guys,
You've probably seen my board if you follow the boards topic.
I received a Boss DD-500 last week and I'm selling it off. The specs are perfect but a bit disappointed by the sound of most of the algorithm and the modulation.
I either don't really need so much presets and I don't like to have too much parameters that aren't knobs (whereas the screen is way better than on the Timeline). I simply like to turn knobs.

Here are the things that I really need/want:
Dedicated Tap tempo (if only digitech made an Obscura v2)
Dotted eights
Tape/analog oriented
Modulation (better with rate + depth)
1, 2 or 3 presets (don't need more)
Self oscillation
Price range: 250-300$

I was eyeing:
Hungry robot Moby Dick (no presets)
Tc Alter Ego x4 (thomann sold their last ones for nuts last week)
Tc triple delay
El Capistan (a bit pricey if I have to buy a favorite switch but I can simply build it)
fx amps Heartbeat (no presets)
Diamond counterpoint
Empress tape

I probably forgot something. Well, I know the best solution would be an analog delay + a digital with tap and dotted eights but don't have the cash and room on my pedalboard for that.

Thanks!

Aside from presets, the Deluxe Memory Boy is yet again a great option.

I've been told it wasn't sounding like a real DMM.
I found a cheap XO though but tap tempo is really essential (if no presets).

I forgot to list what for delays I had and why I sold them. I gonna update the first post.

I'm just going to assume that the Digitech Timebender can do all of this?

I knew I missed a so ILF delay.

Yes, sir. Nothing on the market right now. A friend sold his one 1 month ago. I assume that the DD20 would do the same too but no.

There is the Korg SDD-3000 (just got a price drop) too but the In Limbo is so much cooler. haha

I saw it on TGP, really cheap but I dunno if they're willing to ship to Europe and it's so big.

Yeah, I was going to suggest the In Limbo. Seems like it does most of what you want.

Yep, I can do without presets if it's analog with tap tempo and tap divisons.

There are a few floating around the US market. If you find one I'd be more than act as an intermediary and ship it to you.

Not saying you need a Timebender, just offering?

Yeah timebender can do all that. Though I'm guessing the Limbo is going to sound better in the analog department because of the chips it uses.

Also the Limbo has more street cred.
