I was just really surprised by how much I liked it.
My El Cap is being replaced by an Echo Degrader though

I'm actually going to try one soon from Stomp.club. I just tried a Belle Epoch for the first time and was surprised that I didn't like it. The delay time didn't go low enough for me.

I've always wanted to try a Belle Epoch. I think I just prefer the sound of analog delays more than tape, but I'm sure if I plugged into a real echoplex I would say otherwise.

I think the Brigadier is better than the El Cap.

Nah. A nice analog delay with modulation is a totally different and excellent animal than a digital tape emulation, or real tape delay for that matter. I switch between my RE-20 and Memory Toy all the time, I like them both equally for different reasons.
