Caig Deoxit question

I've got a few pedals/music things that have scratchy pots and I've been advised (by one pedal manufacturer) to use Deoxit D5 to make it better.
This thing is not as easy to find for me locally as it seems to be in the US, and I've found a place online that sells the SN-5MS for a decent price. Which is a different model, I know
.
This page lists the differences between all the Deoxit models but I'm still a bit unsure as to whether the SN-5MS is ok for pots or not : http://store.caig.com/s.nl/it.I/id.66/.f.
I can get the D5 too, but it's twice as expensive (bigger container though it seems but I likely won't need much of this even long-term). There's also a DN5MS available somewhere but for roughly the same price so at this point I'd rather take the "proper" D5.
So, is the SN-5MS ok for scratchy pots or should I just forget it and buy the D5 ?
