Hold/delay with pitch adjust

Looking for something like the dd-5 that can do quick note captures but can shift the pitch of the held notes. Dd-3 can do this but the hold isn't like the dd-5/6.
It needs to be like the dd5 or digidelay where the length of the hold is dictated by how long you press the switch down.
Thoughts? And not something that is boutique prices.

Mod a dd-5 with an LFO/LDR kinda setup over the delay time or custom make a exp pedal for the correct pot value of d. time and make a swithing jack (so it can go back to normal operation).
I got that working with the DOD FX94 kinda (different holding but pitch changing).
Super Flutter maybe (but time is set by a knob). Hexe reVOLVER otherwise. Probably one of those multi-effects or programmable things could work too. Still think the boss dd-5 or 6 mod will be cheapest.

Turning the delay time knob in Hold mode doesn't do anything, doesn't effect the delay like on the DD-3.
HEXE revolver, as far as I understand it, has the held note's time already dictated by the time control. It provides a window of capture time, ya? I need something that is free, or only limited by the max sample time. That way I can do quick captures or something a second long, etc.

Hexe works both ways (I think) the max time is just the set for auto mode and the capture lets you capture up to the max time set (it all depends on the mode)
from the hexe site:
Pitch shifter / detune mode. In this mode pressing the CAPTURE footswich triggers the recording, after releasing the footswitch or when the buffer is full the pedal starts to play the recorded sample and keeps playing it untill the BYPASS footswitch is pressed. There are two different settings for this mode.
huh, must have been thinking of the DD-3...haha sorry about that. Must have gotten the DD-5 confused in my head...let me check some stuff here and I will figure it out.
Why not run a stereo setup with the DD-5 and a pitch shifter after it and then mix it back in?
Or Count to 5 can kinda do this I think if you are quick enough with the tapping.

Also, the DOD fx91 and fx94 can do this

I've had the FX-94 - can't do what I'm talking about, neither can the PDS. In the PDS video, the stutter is always the say length because it is dictated by the time control's delay window.
The Hold mode on the DD-5 allows you to either record something quick or however long you want - up to the max delay time. THAT is what I'm looking for PLUS the ability to shift the pitch.

Yep. this is correct.
We recorded a bunch of stuff at the ILF meet up and there is a section where Tristan plays some stuff over what appears to be two chords, but he just captured a chord then pitch shifted it by varying the time with an expression pedal. It sounds awesome. The other dudes are working on mixing the stuff we recorded but if you keep an eye out on ILF we will not doubt pimp the shit out of it when we eventually "release" it. Which is a long way of saying "demo coming"

Yea, I didn't think the FX94 would let you do that, but I couldn't remember because I modded mine beyond normal haha...so I wasn't going to say either way.
Looking forward to it goroth! Sounds like a blast and can't wait to hear it all, man!
I was thinking that if you want to mess with a raptio (and possibly break it...ST I think tried and there is goop or something)...you could add exp and a latching switch...but you know, at your own risk!
Hexe is awesome though...Piotr seems like an awesome dude.
