Stumbled on this guys stuff recently. I think I found him through investigating combo synths and the ephemera of early electronic keyboard type instruments. Never heard of him before...I guess he's well known in the UK though.

Wow! Really weird stuff, some parts eery, some parts creepy, some parts amazingly tone deaf and terrible but pretty interesting stuff. Completely bizarre life and death story too.

I had heard that song before, but only the Ventures version

Learned that the keyboard was something called a Clavioline. Cool sounds.

Was used on this too which was another Joe Meek production I think...maybe this group had some of the same guys as The Tornados
