Delay peds with a level/drive control...?

I know I'm probably alone in this, it's sorta a pet peeve of mine...
But I wish all delay pedals came with an extra control for the overal volume, instead of just a blend/mix control.
So I don't suppose there's anthing out there that's somewhat cheaper than the Moog MF delay? Expression control and/or fx loop would be nice, and there's extra points for top mount inputs and a compact board friendly size too

Update: I was tempted to pull the trigger on this 'b-stock' Moog MF delay, with a small discount. But apparantly someone else snagged it about 30mins ago

There are a few delays out there that'll do this but with expression control, top mount and cheaper than the moog?
Nothing.

Deluxe Memory Boy is probably the closest but I dunno if it's cheaper or not.

Yeah I know that's asking a bit much.
None of those things are deal breakers though, I'm just looking for a second delay peddle and I'm out of ideas.
I like the idea of getting somekind of gain boost when I turn on my delay pedal, without having to mess with a seperate boost pedal.
I'm mostly into bbd style tones, but I'm my choice will be mainly based on the price, and on the extra tricks and options the pedal does that my ES-2 can't do.

Wasn't that the whole point of the Tech 21 Boost DLA? I'm pretty sure I saw one in b/s/t this week...
EDIT: yup, it's still there for cheap:

Nice one!
Tap tempo, gain control, exp control...AND considerably cheaper than the moog

It's a rad delay! All tech 21 stuff is great.
No top mount, no expression, and not analogue (not that you mentioned that, but the seller did).

you're not alone. I have an echo dream 2 at the end of my chain for this reason. the fuzz control does wonders. not cheaper than the minifooger tho

I think the Belle Epoch has an internal gain trim pot

Both the Belle Epoch and Echorec have an internal gain trim pot.

Lots of good stuff to check out, thanks.
That link to that Tech21 peddle in the the b/s/t: PM'd, cheers. Not true analog, but the extra delay time and extra features make up for that.

Cool, maybe it'll do the trick! I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard that people really liked that era of the Tech 21 boost+ pedals (there was that delay and a reverb, as I understand).

is exactly what I was gonna say
that thing is so much bang for the buck and so underrated at the same time IT'S A CRIME!
love mine to bits.
It even has an adjustable low pass filter in the feeadback line,
and you can set it so it steps through the sub divisions of your tapped delay time...
at like... what? 139€?
