NPD: Minifooger Chorus + DOD Gonkulator

I've recently acquired these two pedals and I think that both of them will probably find a longterm home in my modest collection.
It's hard for me to appraise the Minifooger Chorus as I don't have much to directly compare it with other than a VFE Choral Reef. The Choral Reef is based on the Small Clone and it's probably more coloured/characterful but also much more noisy. I also perceive quite a pronounced loss of bass with the VFE. The Minifooger can produce quite dramatic pitch bending effects which remind me of pedals like the Pitch Pirate. The Choral Reef is actually quite versatile but produces a lot of hiss when you go beyond what the Small Clone allows. I notice a slight whine when the Minifooger is at maximum delay times but it is very clean overall. I'd quite like to compare it to a Cosmichorus or Polychorus.
I collected the Gonkulator yesterday and it represents my first experience with a ring modulator. I suspect it isn't as good as a Moog or whatever but it certainly expands the range of effects available to me. The Grunge circuit seems useful too, is it based on a DS-1? I find the Gonkulator to produce particularly pleasing results when placed in the loop of my Superego!
