SO fucking awesome. This album literally converted my my normal work attire to 100% denim and leather, at the same time as improving my productivity by approx 666% so that I could knock off early, get drunk and raise hell with my fellow soldiers in the name of metal.

Oh yeah, the single is just their typical catchy rocker number. Nothing fancy, but the whole album (and the album as a whole) slays. A fair amount of variety, great vocals and constant beastliness.

I just saw them with Motorhead...the strangest little basement dweller kids all came out for Saxon in head to toe Saxon gear. Strangest thing ever. Like at least four sets of idenical looking 13 year olds with their dad. They left before Motorhead...it was just weird. They all just looked like they own three types of albums: Saxon Albums, Dio Albums, and The Soundtrack to Top Gun.

The kids always had this hovering dad too...that kept looking like he wanted to tell his kids, "You were conceived to this song." And then stick out his tongue and give the sign for love (you know...the Dio goat with an added thumb)

They were a lot better than I thought they would be. I mean, they were pretty fun...

I love Motörhead, and this is no reflection on their place in the pantheon of rock or general badassery, but Saxon's output is substantially more consistent in terms of quality, and less musically redundant.

Still. They're no motorhead haha.

Saxon really surprised me (not a metal guy...that much). Saxon was fun.

Ive been on this for about a week now and its pretty killer but eye of the storm is lame as fuck. All metal albums have that one song that the band is really reaching to write about something gnarly and wicked but just dont quite make it.
