Delay For Shoegaze

I need a delay pedal for shoegaze music. My preference is simpler over complexity and fuzz friendly. Budget is under $400. I definitely prefer pedals I can order immediately over things that I have to hunt down. What is out there?

Every delay pedal ever?
What specifically are you looking to capture for a "shoegaze" sound?

Tc triple delay? I think you can make some of the delay lines reverse for that one. I wanted to try one since it was released.

I need it to be able to get Slowdive style cleans but also able to play well with fuzz.

Neil used a boss ps-2, get one second hand its unique amongst the other boss delays and effect/delay combo pedals.

Define "shoegaze music".
I know for instance the guys from Slowdive and Ride are using Timefactors, but you could get same results out of a DD3 or any other cheap digital pedal.
There is a DD7 in the BST for a great price right now.

Yeah I'd say anything will work. I've had some but not lots, like 6 delays I guess. Of the ones I've tried, dl8 worked pretty dang well, flashback is pretty decent but I don't like the strum tempo, and my bellweather is great. Id say for the clean parts you just don't want something that has built in dirt/nastiness. My 616lofi is great for most shoegaze but can't really do clean pristine.

get a PS2 just because the delay sounds incredible on them. If someone managed to get the sound of a ps2 into something with a tap tempo it would be basically my perfect ever delay.
