i have owned both, and had to cast my vote for ab-synth. and there should not be any "beef" with vex. the fuzz factory is a classic, and he's sold thosands of them. how can he be mad?

oh lord.....a very butthurt vex is pissed off at me in this thread.

what really makes me unhappy is that i was one of his earliest supporters. i turned on HUNDREDS of other players to his pedals in the 90s. i was the first person i knew of in florida to have VEX pedals. i had a very early FF, an Octane 1, and a SHO way back then, and was turning on LOTS of guys to his pedals.

then last year, he just basically told me that "i was NOT his friend", and that all i had ever done was send him a few emails. this.....after years of me defending him against the cloners and other people who thought he was a dick. well, it's TRUE.....he IS a dick

i think he's more butthurt about the fact that the ab-synth is winning the poll.

whatever. i stand by my opinion. the ab-synth sounds better, and is LESS THAN HALF the price on a FF.
