Wanna get a Mini but am also concerned that it goes too far into weird territory with the bias knob. I like sputtery 60s fuzzdrive, but I want to make sure it works alright as a thickening agent booster that can add just a tiny bit of dirt. I like my thick clean tone on my neck P-90, but I'd like to be able to give it a slight volume boost and some girth and overdrive, like a light light dirty boost. So can you do NEARLY clean boosts with it? I hear it's got some good bass to it, which would be a great addition to my clangy neck pickup.

You can certainly do a clean boost with it. It can be very clean with the bias knob from 2 o'clock to 5 o'clock and the gain range is really wide. Even if I don't use the mini as drive pedal I like having it in my chain as a tone shaper to give my bass thickness.

I had a Mini, then I got a Fuck, then traded the Mini, then sold the Fuck. Shit, what a life. I want to have both of those pedals again.

You can definitely use it even cleaner, like a clean boost or like an EQd boost, no problem! I just didn't

I was just giving ya a hard time. The Mini has a wide range of tones. It's really versatile. Even if you're not using it for the crazies make sure to at least try out some of the harsher sounds. That bias knob is fun to play with.

oh btw - we'll most probably release a Fuck demo on tuesday (will post it here) and I totally feel (also know that because I've owned both) that the Fuck is more top-endy. It has sort of like this trebly quality that works really well for cutting through the mix and feels a bit more (as you said) 60's sputtery fuzzdrive

also don't mean this in a wrong way, but as destructive as the Fuck is, I actually feel that it's a bit more "transparent" than the Mini - meaning I feel like I hear more of the instrument character with Fuck

but then again the Mini can get cleaner I'd say
