Holy shit that's a helluva bill!

I was surprised to get the show update so far ahead of time, especially from this club. I've been to a couple of shows there, including The Psychedelic Furs, which was a great show with a kind of weird, underwhelming audience. I am guessing that the Voivod folks will be more engaged.

Also this new KJ is nice. I've really only listened to Ha! before this.

Yeah, I meander through their catalog - had some early stuff (Birds of a Feather, etc), and some of Pandemonium when it first came out, but I think this is definitely working for me. Gonna have to start digging back in...

I blame it all on Masked Elwood. He doesn't post much here any more, but he's been filling up FB with KJ stuff for months now...

Killing Joke are awesome. Saw them last year in Blackpool. Don't know if the wife will want to see them again in Jan. though.

Watching their Hellfest 2015 set on Youtoob now, which is pretty great. Jaz looks insane, which is pretty much what one wants. Though they did look a bit uncomfortable to be playing in the bright sun...

"Come to Papa Jaz!!!!!"

They should be all rights have been bigger than they were/are.

Great band responsible for a lot of other great bands existing.

Totally agree man. I never really understood their influence (very fringy over here) until I went to the UK and all kinds of people new every word (punks, skins, metal heads, goths, billys). Was kind of nuts and awesome. Made a really good friend out of the whole thing too.

Heard bad things about Hellfest...maybe that is why they look uncomfortable too? Yea, playing in the sun sucks though (played a few small festivals and it was terrible haha).

I really only got into them because I was going to see them while in the UK. Was a great find. One friend I had in high school was really into killing joke and gang of four...none of us got it really haha.

It was a pretty awesome show when we saw them despite horrid sound (Everybody in that room at rebellion sounded awful unless you were right up next to the bands equipment inside the range of the PA system). I love the first few albums. This one is turning out ok so far and growing on me a bit.

My neighbor was in Low Pop Suicide which was the bass player from Gang of Four's next band...and Gang of Four plays here all the time (but my neighbor always laughs and calls them Gang of One). Just fun stuff from that era too.

 I hadn't realized Andy Gill is the only remaining original bandmember.
