How do you use your Hall of Fame?

Picked one up recently, and I don't think I'm using it to full effect. I do have a delaylab that can give me small amounts of reverb-like sound - but I want my ambient fuzzed out shoegaze fuckverb.
Anyone use one for the aforementioned sounds?

Of the standard sounds, I like mod and lofi the best. Cathedral isn't bad. Of the Toneprints, I like the Jonsi and Lucasonic ones, and the "Toxic Twister" or whatever that is may actually be too crazy with the controls maxed. I haven't dabbled enough with the editor app (they finally got around to unfucking it for iOS 8 over a year after the fact), but it gives you some ability to do deep control of a lot of parameters, particularly handy if you want to tune modulation character.

Toxic twister is rad if you're devoting your efforts to knob twiddling instead of playing.
I never got to try the Jonsi one but it looks rad.
The Troy van Leeuwin ones are great.
Also get the tone print editor and spend some time learning it.
There are some great modulation things going on in there that you can really bring out.

Yeah if you're not afraid of editing the Toneprint series is awesome... Watch some demos, get the app if you have an iPhone, fuck around with presets... The HOF is real easy to Fuckverb...

I threw it down a well and captured an impulse response of it shattering, then loaded that up in Ableton...

I used it for a refund. One of the few pedals I just didn't care for the sound of, rather one of the brands I don't care for.

Eh, I get the hate a bit. Unless you get a tweaked Toneprint or do your own, the HOF is pretty neutral and doesn't throw a lot of character down. In comparison, the PGS Trinity versions sometimes get complaints for being a bit heavy handed with the modulation and such. I find the HOF's neutralness pretty handy--it stacks brilliantly with other mod/delay/verb without swamping anything out in an ugly way. One of my frequent setups has Zoom MS-100BT running fancy delay and/or 'verb into Delaylab into HOF. I don't know whether a reverb with a lot of distinct personality would stack as easily. This seems like damning it with faint praise, but I do genuinely like the thing and really like having it in my rig.

I just wish they had more than one memory for toneprints...
Still, I might get one at some point because they're not that expensive and stereo, my only decent reverb now is mono (Context).

I like some modulated ones with real cringy names:
Guitar center's lost in the tone
Steve vai's ocean machine
White lies in a cathedral
If it's not weird enough for you, throw a patch cable from one the outs back into an input. I have mine in a feedback looper right now just on the edge of madness.

trying to make the iphone app work, but so far it's underwelming.
Will hook it up to my computer and fuck with it that way tonight.
