Wow, that sucks. Would've expected more from them. Hope everything works out, man.

Hope you get your money back. It can be a pain to deal with big companies sometimes.
For that kind of money, I'm sure you can get some aftermarket pickups that will be awesome

Do you have your PayPal account tied to a credit card? If so you could also dispute it with your credit card. And I guarantee once you dispute it with either paypal or your credit card they will respond to them within 24 hours.

awful customer service.
have you tried going through regular duncan channels? i know the custom shop is probably super busy/doesnt care about returns. maybe if you got ahold of someone in the regular duncan sales side they could probably expedite your process.

That looks pretty minor to me. Every set of various wide ranges I have had exhibited slight misalignment of the polepieces. I dont think I would call those "garbage" because of the slight screw misalignment. I would at least install them and see what they sound like.

There's *some* slight misalignment in the stock photo on DS's site. But the actual pickup looks pretty off, looks like they're using different posts too...

Depending on the return stipulations, installing them might not be a good idea if he wants his money back and wants to pass on them all together.

That sucks...hope you're able to get things straightened out with little stress. I've had great success with wide range humbuckers from Novak, and for a litte $$$ more the Telenator CuNeFi are simply amazing. Good luck

That does look pretty bad. I know they are smudged/have reflections, but they chrome even looks somewhat lower quality.
Man, I feel for ya. Can't stand that kind of service and "good enough" mentality. Good luck and you will find something better as a result.

Thanks for the support everyone. I'm waiting for paypal to decide, now. Still no word from Duncan.
Galvar, there's plastic protective tape on the tops of the pickups, in the picture, and that's why the chrome looks weird.
Edit 10/26
Paypal returned my money. Thanks paypal.
