Every pedal junkies dream - Build my friend a pedal board

Hey there guys,
As the title suggests I have a friend (this isnt the case of "i have a friend but really its me" honest, i have my board all set up nice

) who is looking into getting pedals and setting up a board. Now he mainly plays lap steel (
https://vimeo.com/47078100) but also uses his Tele every now and again.
So he is looking for the following:
Pedalboard
Powersupply
Tuner
Wah
OD
Fuzz
Reverb
Delay
Loop Station
The budget is around £500 ( less would be better i doubt there is much room for going over) The style of music is likely going to be experimental but nothing brutally heavy so recommending the Fuzz needs to be versatile. Normally i would just say buy as many Dr Scientist pedals as possible but they are likely not really in the budget range.
As alot of the ILF crowd here are US and Canada if you find a pedal that's not in the UK then its OK i maybe able to get hold of it through a friend but its not easy and avoiding the customs taxes is preferable.
Appreciate the help guys
Chris

For Lap Steel and Tele, I know a lot of people out in my home town dig Nobels OD (and they can be had fairly cheap). Tons of good overdrives out there though. approx 60-100GBP
Fuzz, I would pick up a clone of something or let him mess with your Fuzzhuggers, see what he likes (maybe a demo tape fuzz?). approx 60-100GBP maybe a Ibanez FZ-7 or a Boss FZ-2 (heard good things about the behringer one too)
Delay...Boss DD-6, Ibanez DE-7. For Mod delay...Ibanez ES-2, Memory Boy or something (maybe subdecay anamesis echo) approx 60-80GBP
Reverb, no clue (and there are a lot of different kinds...don't know what he likes, shimmer, spring, etc).
Looper..ditto, ditto x2, or jamman approx 80-160 GBP (lots of scaling here, depends on what you want)
Wah..don't know, I know you can pick up some vintage fuzzes at reduced rates because they have a wah too...might be something to look at (like Jax, Ibanez, etc)
Tuner..I like polytune, but do what you can (artec and other chinese companies are making good ones now too I think)
Pedalboard...I would just make one. Power supply: one spot or whatever is left over after.
But yea, people really love that Nobels OD (ODR-1) with a tele and with a lapsteel.

Pedalboard: Suitable pedaltrain is probably the cheapest option
Power supply: ..... 1spot for budget reasons and due to the fact that he won't be using that many pedals
Tuner: whatever works really, but the korg dt10 has a good buffer and is usually cheap. I don't really know since I use a clip on anyway
Wah: no fucking idea and won't pretend that I do either
OD: My favorite is the barber LTD SR. It's discontinued but there is a never version. I got mine for 60€ used. I haven't bought any overdrives since so beyond this I'm not much help.
Fuzz: a big muff of sorts maybe? Maybe a rat? This is just too hard and there are loads of options. Or just a suneater cause they kick ass.
Reverb: depends on how atmospheric he wants it to be. Digiverb is cheap and has options. I love the boss RV-3 but mainly for pre dirt, so I wouldn't go that route. EHX Cathedrals can be found pretty cheap on the used market and honestly it's a solid choice.
Delay: a boss DD unit is probably going to be a good choice if the board is only going to have one delay I think. Otherwise the DE-7 gets loads of praise as well.
Loop: Ditto is cheap and simple
EDIT: Actually, I think my overdrive recommendation is maybe a bit too weak. Something with a bit more gain would maybe be preferable

That was fun, Brandsmannen!
If I had to have one cheap fuzz clone, it would probably be a fuzzrite. But I think a EHX satifaction can be had cheap and modded to sound good (Jordan Bosstone sounds). Just adding to before. Fuzz and reverb is too specific to individuals to really gauge things (more so than other ones). Boss OD-1 isn't a bad choice for overdrive either.

I can help with the reverb something that has pre sets in like the Dr Scientist RRR would be good but the Cathedral is a good option as well nice one! I figured fuzz was going to be the tough part trying to find that sound, my gut feeling is something that can deliver subtle but go balls out when needed.
keep the suggestions coming this is already excellent than kyou!!

Pedalboard: Diy. Get a small suitcase (flee market, thrift store,...) or one of those cheap aluminum tool cases and saw a slab of plywood or something to the right size. A 2x4 underneath to raise it, a couple of handles and some velcro, and you're set for less than what a pedaltrain+case will cost ya.
Powersupply: VS OneSpot.
Tuner: GFS. Or whatever the UK alternative is, I'm sure there's got to be .
Wah: Beats me, I'm not a wah guy.
OD: Depends, I'm personally partial to peds that lean more to the higher gain side. As far as low gain ts/klon style overdrive goes: I guess you can't go terribly wrong with a Bad Monkey or Soul Food, right? I used to have an old OD-1, which was basically Boss's answer to the tubescreamer. Not half bad, and cheap enough.
Any Boss OD/SD is okay in my book as well, and so is the BD-2 impo.
Fuzz: If resale value isn't an issue, you could probably get someone to build you a good tonebender/fuzzface clone for less than $60, and a used ehx BMP can be had cheap too. I'm into superfuzzes myself. FZ-2, or the Behringer clone of if which is dirt cheap. Guyatone torrid/TZ2 isn't too pricey, but they might not be easily available in the UK.
Reverb: Digiverb, RV-2/3, Hardwire RV-7, Marshall RF-1, EHX Nano Holy Grail,...
Delay: DE-7, or ES-2 if it's within the budget. Or just go with the RV-3 and have both delay and reverb in one

Or better yet, get a DL-8 and eliminate the need for a looper
Loop Station: If he needs a seperate one with more options, instead of going the DL-8 route: Jamman XT, Ditto, Nano Looper 360,...

Oh man the hardwire is a good shout! Thank you, I appreciate it. I'll have to check out the DL-8

Honestly if he's just getting into pedals he might want to check out an M9 and a couple expression pedals. Lots to play around with, hits everyone of his wants (and more), and he can upgrade in bits and pieces when he's ready.
