Suggest a little amp for tube rolling and guitar testing!!

So I'm opening a "shop" out of my garage and I want to offer tube testing along with guitar setups. I have a good old tester that tests for emissions, gas, and shorts but I need a small low wattage tube amp that is really susceptible to tube changes so I can test customers' tubes for microphonics in the amp. This will also be my amp for testing guitars after I'm done setting them up so I'd prefer something that sounds good and works well with different types of pickups. I will also need to be able to get inside it easily and swap the V1 tube for testing.

Univalve, some of the Frenzel stuff is designed more or less with what you're thinking in mind.

Egnater tweaker 15. Cheap, sounds good, and accepts any octal power tube without biasing. 6v6, 6l6, el34...

You might consider getting one of the several low watt amp kits available, building yourself a little test unit, and not putting it in an enclosure. That way all the tubes are exposed and easy to get at and, you can tell your customers you built it which might give you a little more cred with them.

I do really like that idea. But mulekicker brought up a good point I didn't even consider power tubes, I was only thinking about an amp for rolling preamp tubes.

So a kit, that doesn't need a chassis, accepts the common types of 9-pin preamp tubes and all the common octal base power tubes is probably what I need then. Doesn't *have* to be a kit, but it's gotta do all those other things.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot. It should be bass friendly too.
