Looks like they're swinging back hard from all the changes in the last run.

I like that bound V. Seemed so weird how they had pretty well stopped making anything except les Paul's and SGs

I'd take a satin ebony faded if it had a maple neck. And if it didn't suck, as it probably will.

Am I a bad person that I want a Gibson Les Paul with the minimum amount of finishing with two humbuckers and the coil taps/splitting?

It is really now about just the headstock, I want that "Open book" style thing Gibson can do but Epiphone doesn't have.

No thanks.

Eww, I just noticed the new headstock shape.

WayToHip. Look for an 00s Les Paul Special. I have a faded ebony one, super stripped down. There's slightly nicer SL models that have mini-trapezoid inlays and a nitro finish instead of unfinsihed/satin.

Always wanted one but I have baaaaaad luck with nitro finishes. A friend of mine bought a natural finished one, that guitar was sexy.

Where the fuck is the RD? If gibson made a $700 RD they would make a billion dollars and i would probably figure out how to get one.
